These businesses have been the first in the company to develop responsive solutions. Combined, we have worked with over 250 users across nearly 25 mobile studies in both the United States and Canada. We have tested native iOS and Android applications as well as responsive websites. Since 2009, we have adapted our mobile testing techniques to maximize learnings gained from every test session. To ensure usability tests positively impact the business and our users’ experience, we regularly present test findings to executive audiences throughout the company. Beyond tests, executive stakeholders, product owners, and other usability engineers on our team look to us for consultative guidance on mobile best practices and heuristic feedback.

This has nothing to do with code: Mobility from a users perspective

Come hear! Two senior usability engineers from Vanguard discuss mobile components, such as data tables, tabsets, and navigation. We will also cover bigger ideas like mobile first and progressive reduction, backed by data from usability tests. You will learn when to use certain mobile components and when they don’t work. You will not learn anything about how to code what we talk about, but hopefully you will start to think about coding for mobile from a users point of view.
