An introduction to progressive web apps and React

This session is a beginner’s guide to progressive web apps and the front end web. The talk will mainly focus on React, a JavaScript library developed by Facebook for building user interfaces. Other topics will be covered during the session as well. These topics include RESTful APIs, AJAX, JSX, the web app manifest, service workers, and production bundling and optimization.

.NET Core and .NET Standard have been in active and open development on Github for more than a year, and now we’re ready to talk about an RTM version .NET Core 2.0 and .NET Standard 2.0 What do these new versions mean for us? In this session with a member of the .NET team responsible for these frameworks, we’ll learn how you can write .NET code that runs anywhere including Windows, Mac, Linux, Raspberry Pi, your phone, your watch, even your TV and refrigerator. We’ll also check out the Visual Studio 2017 Update 3 and its new productivity features.
